The biggest boxing fight this year is happening this weekend, July 2, 2011, the Wladimir Klitschko vs David Haye fight. Pre-fight press conference held today and below are the highlights:
- Haye has no comments on earlier reports that he has problem with the choice of referee.
- Wladimir hopes Haye won't be running around a lot. He added that this fight is not about nationalities (Russians vs Brits).
- Vitali Klitschko asked Haye to make a promise to attend the post-fight press conference. (No excuses after the fight.)
- Haye also asked Vitali not to go with the ambulance but be present in the presscon after the fight.
- Haye said that this will be a war, a brutal execution of a boxer.
